Two Problems – One Solution

This is certainly the case with one of Thinkcare’s clients

A small, yet highly specialised residential mental health provider had identified the issue with finding suitable move-on options for their residents once they were ready to step-down, as many supported living providers were unable to provide the right therapeutic support, often causing a delay in the individual moving on or the client having to move out of area to a more suitable placement.

Thinkcare were able to look at the problem from a fresh perspective and by analysing the provider’s existing relationships see a unique opportunity:

A Housing Association with an existing relationship with the provider was experiencing a void issue in one of their sheltered housing schemes. By bringing together both parties with their prospective problems, Thinkcare was able to negotiate, design and implement an innovative solution.

Outcome.

By partnering up with the Housing Association, utilising their spare flats within the sheltered housing scheme, and thus solving their void issue, Thinkcare was able to support the provider in developing the right kind pathway for its clients, as well as move the organisation into the supported living sector, creating a profitable and sustainable solution for both parties.

Professor Rex Haigh FRCPsych

Nesha Kelly has been immensely helpful as a business development consultant, advising us of market opportunities, arranging introductions to new contacts to expand the areas we do business in,and following through right up to and including contract negotiations. As a result of her work we've been able to identify and take advantage of opportunities in developing new partnerships, agreed a contract for a new crisis service, started selling our training programme externally, and are currently expanding and diversifying by extending our reach to the individuals we support.
